I would like to go over a few things first, and why I decided to do research on being able to keep windows 95 going, and I hope it may be able to save you money too. It was when windows 95 first came out, this big computer store in my area was having a big clearance sale on computers. I was in my glory looking around at all the late model computer, all that they would and how fast they were, (especially after my radio shack color computer). So some how I ended up with two Demo Computer I thought were a pretty good buy then. One was a Packard Bell 75mgz 1gig hard drive and they other one was a Packard Bell 100mgz 1.2 hard Drive. Talk about luxury, I was in my glory with these new late model demo computers. Until about one week latter. My 75mgz Packard Bell Computer Just would not start. Kept showing all these error messages and would not go. So I took it back to the store and my demo computer would not go. They said it would have to have new windows installed on it, and it would cost $100.00 to install windows on my new demo computer. So I had it done. Meanwhile I was using the other computer. And About one week latter and when my other computer was Just getting done, This one quit also. Man, I was not a happy Trouper! So I took this back also to the computer store where i bought it and paid another $100.00 to have windows 95 reinstalled on the computer. I though there had to be a better way, So I decided to do Research on windows 95 care, maintenance and keeping it going. and I hope these results will save you money too like they have me.
